Gov. Okowa honours Erubami, As the best graduating student with automatic employment

The governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has offered Mr Joshua Erubami, the best graduating student of Delta State University for the 2015/2016 academic session with an automatic employment as a reward for hardwork and dignity.

Okowa who was present at the University convocation said this at Delta state university,  campus 3.

Erubami who graduated from the department of Mass Communication was also the President of the Faculty of Social Science Students Association (SOSSA) during his time and graduated with a CGPA of 4.86

Currently serving the nation in Ekiti State under the NYSC Scheme, Erubami will resume as a Graduate Assistant at Delta State University when he completes his service year.

The lion of Africa Miriam Makeba

Zenzile Miriam Makeba (Mama Africa), was a South African great singer, United Nations Goodwill ambassador, Actor, and civil rights activist. She was associated with musical genres which includes Afropop, jazz, and world music, she was known for her advocacy against apartheid and white-minority government in South Africa. Makeba's first name, Zenzile, means "you have no one to blame but yourself" or "you have done it to yourself", which seems unfair, considering how much her life was governed by external forces. Pro-Buhari group protest against Resign or Resume protest in Abuja

A group of protesters supporting President Muhammadu Buhari have taken over the street of the federal capital Abuja, on the morning of Thursday, August 10. The protesters who are members of the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative group were spotted at Unity Fountain carrying placards and singing solidarity songs in support of the ailing president. The group, led by Nelson Ekujumi of the Centre for Civil Society and Justice, said they will continue the process for 30 days.
