The President is well and will soon return to Nigeria - Governor Ganduje

The Kano State Governor,  Mr Umar Ganduje has expressed great joy over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health condition. He said this shortly after he and six other governors visited him in the Abuja house in London.

The governors who were selected to represent the six geo-political zones were led by Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara who is the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

They met with the president on Wednesday, July 26 in London and have great discussion with them.

Governor Ganduje said after the meeting with the President that

“From what we are hearing, we see that Mr President is in a much better condition. We were very happy to see him. He came out personally to shake hands with us and went back and sat down. The chairman of the Governors’ forum made a brief speech and he (President Buhari) also responded and cracked jokes.

“So I believe Mr President will soon recover fully and come back to Nigeria.”

Zenzile Miriam Makeba (Mama Africa), was a South African great singer, United Nations Goodwill ambassador, Actor, and civil rights activist. Pro-Buhari group protest against Resign or Resume protest in Abuja

A group of protesters supporting President Muhammadu Buhari have taken over the street of the federal capital Abuja, on the morning of Thursday, August 10. The protesters who are members of the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative group were spotted at Unity Fountain carrying placards and singing solidarity songs in support of the ailing president. The group, led by Nelson Ekujumi of the Centre for Civil Society and Justice, said they will continue the process for 30 days. On some of the placards on display are words like: "We stand united for PMB."
