It is time we the urhobos start looking for our enemies that are already looking for us in various place to end our progress "The best form of defence is attack" enough is enough.
.
In this state and beyond, our silence and non-violent way of life has made other tribes and persons think and feel we are fearful and can't face challenges. But don't forget that the slow movement of a tiger does not show fear; but a calculated attempt to capture his prey.
.
The attack took place during the  second phase of the senator’s constituency ‘empowerment’ program in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. We note with sadness that two persons were seriously injured during this violent attack unleashed on the peace-loving senator and his team by the suspected killers.
.
We also use this medium to inform those behind this act to stop or else should any thing happen to the only urhobo senator; urhobos and the members of UPA worldwide will never take it lightly just as we let them get away with the death of Sen.Barr. Pius Ewherido, Urhobo are now more unity than ever before. The political argument that have been causing disunity among us no long exist.
.
We are aware that the peoples senator (Barr. ovie omo-agege ) stood against the Biafra agitators and order them to remove urhobo nation from there map. he made this statement just of recent and this attack is coming. hmmm, trouble they sleep yanga go wake am.
.
Please somebody should take this message to the leader of the Biafra agitators .....Urhobo nation is ready to war any tribe or persons that will ever harm any of his people ever again. Enough is enough to this madness.
.
Urhobo Peculiar Advocates organization (UPA) with the collective support of all urhobos; is ever ready to defend his urhobos any time any day without fear or favour. Urhobo all over the world let us join hands together and let the world know that our spirit is strong now and can never be broken by any body or group of persons by showing love to one another (urhobos) all over the world in respective of our various political parties or individuals difference.

Meanwhile APC Delta has condemned an attack on Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who, in the company of his wife, children, APC Chieftains and party members, beneficiaries and other participants, narrowly escaped a seemingly orchestrated and pre-meditated assassination attempt on his life Signed by Engr. Leonard Obibi
State Publicity Secretary (Acting)
All Progressives Congress, Delta State Chapter.

The incident occurred on Saturday, 15th July 2017 at the popular Effurun Market in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State during the second phase of his Constituency ‘Empowerment Programme’ where he was giving out direct financial support to hundreds of petty traders and Okada riders, when an organized mob of irate youths stormed the arena with dangerous weapons, shooting sporadically. We strongly denounce this dastardly act in its entirety.

Most importantly, we are grateful to God Almighty that this assassination attempt was unsuccessful and that no life was lost. We also express our heartfelt sympathies to our Senator, his family, participants, as well as members of the Delta Central Senatorial District who have showed ceaseless love and affection, with an out-pouring of support. We are also very pleased to note that Senator Omo-Agege did not yield to this wanton display of violence, as he chose to conduct himself in a manner that showed bold, mature and wise leadership in order to avoid unnecessary bloodshed over a charitable event.

We are however saddened that some people sustained injuries in the fracas that ensued and had to be rushed to the hospital, while several vehicles in the entourage were smashed and other facilities destroyed
