BREAKING: President Buhari meets with APC, PDP leaders

The president met with the leaders of the two main parties on Friday, August 25 at the Presidential Villa.

Senator Ahmed Makarfi led the delegation from the opposition party to the meeting which was also confirmed by the president's aide.

President Buhari also spoke at the end of the meeting, commending the leaders for coming around.

Chief John Oyegun who is the Chairman of the PC speaks after Makarfi saying the meeting signifies Buhari is the president of all Nigerians regardless of party or region.

Makarfi insists that no matter the party the president comes from, he still enjoys the support of Nigerians.

Senator Makarfi speaks welcoming the president back to the country, insisting that they don't wish him evil.

The leaders of the opposition party arrived by 12:25 where they proceeded to the meeting with the president.

Meanwhile the president thanks the leaders of the ruling party and opposition party for their visit.

"I'm full of gratitude to the leaders of the PDP and APC for finding time from their busy schedules to visit me and welcome me back home."

Zenzile Miriam Makeba (Mama Africa), was a South African great singer, United Nations Goodwill ambassador, Actor, and civil rights activist. She was associated with musical genres which includes Afropop, jazz, and world music, she was known for her advocacy against apartheid and white-minority government in South Africa. Pro-Buhari group protest against Resign or Resume protest in Abuja

A group of protesters supporting President Muhammadu Buhari have taken over the street of the federal capital Abuja, on the morning of Thursday, August 10. The protesters who are members of the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative group were spotted at Unity Fountain carrying placards and singing solidarity songs in support of the ailing president. The group, led by Nelson Ekujumi of the Centre for Civil Society and Justice, said they will continue the process for 30 days. On some of the placards on display are words like: "We stand united for PMB."
