I Don't Import Generators - Atiku

Atiku Abubakar who is  politician, businessman and philanthropist, who served as the second elected Vice-President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007, on the platform of the People's Democratic Party, with President Olusegun Obasanjo,  has come out to address the long issues on Nigerians mind when a young Nigerian asked him to invalidate his license for generator/plant importation and let electricity have peace in a tweet.

Rumours have it that Atiku is the sole importer of Generators and plant,  that this is the reason why the country can't stabilize the power supply to give rooms for Generators.  In every home in Nigeria 100% well to do are using Generators

The former vice president have replied Ehis Osaigbovo on twitter handle that he spent money in generation of electricity, He consumed 30MW from generator daily in Yola.

Atiku reply tweets "My son, I generate 30MW from generators daily in Yola. If I was a generator importer, I'd pity myself & save myself from such high costs"

Ehis Osaigbovo tweet "Mr oga rescind your license for generator/plant importation and let our electricity have peace.We are tired of noise and bad smoke pollution"
