President Muhammadu Buhari received briefing from VP Osinbajo

President Muhammadu Buhari has received a briefing from Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the state house in Abuja on today  Monday, August 21.

The president gave a Short broadcast, transmitted a letter of resumption to the National Assembly, intimating the lawmakers of his return from medical vacation in London.

Fayose reconstitutes Council of Traditional rulers

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti has inaugurated the reconstituted Council of Traditional Ruler with Oloye of Oye-Ekiti, Oba Michael Ademolaju, as the new Chairman on Tuesday. Restructuring will not be given to us freely or on a platter of gold - FFK

Former minister of aviation Femi Fani Kayode has said on Facebook post on Thursday July 27 when speaking on the backdrop of the Senate vote to reject a proposal to amend the 1999 Constitution to devolve more powers to the states. Femi stated that those agitating for restructuring may need to take it by force because Nigeria will never be restructured through constitutional means or the National Assembly. Kayode said the northern region which exercises control of the National Assembly will always block any move to restructure the country.
