Sani react to Abuja Protesters
The Kaduna central Senator have reacted to Abuja protest urging them to pray for the president.
He said Nigerians have the right to protest for the President to resume or resign and it's been back by the constitute of Nigeria
In a post He said "Those protesting for the President to resume or resign have the constitutional and fundamental rights to do so.
"But the President had properly handed over power to the acting president before he travelled on Medical vacation."
"I fully respect the rights of protesters to object but I appeal to them to step down their placard and pick up a prayer book for our president."
"He has given so much and sacrificed so much for our country and this is the time to stand by him when it's telling on his health."
"For a man who has given the better part of his life for our unity and for our progress, it's not much if we show him love, care and understanding in his trying moments."
Meanwhile the organization, Concerned Nigerians on Monday, August 7, converged at the Unity Fountain in Abuja urging the president to either resume duty or resign.
The leader of the group and renowned singer Charles 'Charly Boy' Oputa said: "Our Mumu Don Do."
Charly Boy added that he was at the protest to demand the resumption or resignation of the president.
He said he was also present to support the youths who have been saddled with the responsibility of demanding accountability and transparency from Nigerian leaders.
Nigeria Police Force, officers, police vans and horses were present at venue.
