Senate hosted a visiting delegation from the United States Congress

The United State of America Congress delegates visited Nigeria Senate today 28 August, and discussed the Security, Anti-Terrorism, Agriculture, Jobs as well as Humanitarian Aids

The Nigerian Senate today hosted a visiting delegation from the United States Congress.

The US Congressional Delegation was led by the United States Ambassador Stuart Symington and included Senators Christopher Coons, Gary Peters & Michael Benett as well as Representatives Barbara Lee, Lisa Blunt Rochester, Charlie Dent, Terri Sewell and Frederica Wilson.

The US Congressional Delagation discussed with the hosts NASS Nigeria on matters surrounding Security, Anti-Terrorism, Agriculture, Jobs as well as Humanitarian Aids. The meeting also focused on improving the legislative relationship between NASS Nigeria and the US Congress.

The Meeting also delved into matters concerning protection of Fundamental Human Rights.

The US Congressional Delagation was hosted by the Chairman of the 8th  NASS Nigeria and Senate president, Senator Bukola Saraki. Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Senate Leader Ahmad Lawan, Senate Minority Whip Phillip Aduda, Senators Danjuma Goje, Isah Hamma Misau, Jeremiah Useni as well as  House Chief Whip Alhasan Ado Doguwa and Honourables Oluwole Olubusayo Oke, Abdussamadd Dasuki and Mustapha Dawaki were all present.
