Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan welcome second daughter

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan have welcomed their second child, a daughter named August.

Mark announced the news on Facebook saying, 'Priscilla and I are so happy to welcome our daughter August!"

He also included a letter to his daughter from himself and Chan expressing hopes that she would take time to enjoy her childhood.

The letter partly reads, ' When your sister was born we wrote a letter about the world we hoped she and now you grow up in, a world with better eduction, fewer diseases, stronger communities and greater equality.  Childhood is magical. You only get to be a child once, so don't spend it worrying too much about the future. You've got us for that, and we'll do everything we possibly can to make sure the world is a better place for you and all children in your generation,'.

He and Chan wrote a similar letter to his daughter Max upon her birth in 2015.

The lion of Africa Miriam Makeba

Zenzile Miriam Makeba (Mama Africa), was a South African great singer, United Nations Goodwill ambassador, Actor, and civil rights activist. She was associated with musical genres which includes Afropop, jazz, and world music, she was known for her advocacy against apartheid and white-minority government in South Africa. Makeba's first name, Zenzile, means "you have no one to blame but yourself" or "you have done it to yourself", which seems unfair, considering how much her life was governed by external forces. Pro-Buhari group protest against Resign or Resume protest in Abuja

A group of protesters supporting President Muhammadu Buhari have taken over the street of the federal capital Abuja, on the morning of Thursday, August 10. The protesters who are members of the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative group were spotted at Unity Fountain carrying placards and singing solidarity songs in support of the ailing president. The group, led by Nelson Ekujumi of the Centre for Civil Society and Justice, said they will continue the process for 30 days.
